I was the Ethel Louise Armstrong Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Disability Studies from 2017-2018.  I am a white settler and cisgender Mad woman. I have a PhD in Political Science and specialize in feminist politics, disability politics and Canadian politics. My research interrogates the diverse implications of social policy making in Canada鈥檚 provinces for people with living with mental  illness labels, which includes a commitment to a de-colonizing, anti-racist intersectional framework. My analytical approach sits firmly at the intersection of feminist political economy and disability studies.
