Lia Langworthy
Lia Langworthy is a screenwriter, filmmaker, published poet, essayist and educator. She has written for CBS, Showtime, FX, TvOne and ABC. She has appeared in Rogue Theatre鈥檚 writers-who-read series Rant & Rave sharing her original personal non-fiction. She also appeared in Survivors, a Stand Up to Cancer short film shot by Errol Morris. In 2018 Lia鈥檚 script, Sitting Pretty was a semi-finalist for Universal鈥檚 Writing Program and her historical bio-pic, Mary+Flo, was a semi-finalist for Ron Howard鈥檚 Imagine Impact. Lia has taught screenwriting for UCLA鈥檚 Writing Program and American Film Institute and joined 91看片网 in 2019. Lia also serves as a script advisor for Middlebury College鈥檚 Screenplay Lab. Lia is a native Californian, born in Los Angeles and attended UC Berkeley (BS) and UC Riverside (MFA).
