Dannia Philipp
Dannia Philipp is a PhD candidate at the Universit茅 de Montr茅al and a member of the MEMO project team. She holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an M.Sc. in Environment and Sustainability. Her academic and professional experience spans economic and territorial research in Latin America, with an interdisciplinary focus on the relationships between environment, livelihoods, and development. Her doctoral research examines how environmental, political, and institutional pressures interact across the Central America鈥揗exico migration corridor, shaping distinct patterns of human mobility and displacement. Using spatial analysis and data integration, her work seeks to understand how different territorial contexts influence communities鈥� responses to environmental and socioeconomic pressures. Her research was awarded by Canada鈥檚 Impact+ Research Training Awards under the selected Priority Research Areas doctoral projects.
