Isabel Gil-Everaert is an Assistant Professor at the Centro de Relaciones Internacionales of the Facultad de Ciencias Pol鱈ticas y Sociales at the Universidad Nacional Aut坦noma de M辿xico (FCPyS-UNAM) where she coordinates the Observatory of the Binational Relationship between Mexico and the U.S. Before joining FCPyS-UNAM, she was a postdoctoral researcher at El Colegio de M辿xico where she is an affiliated researcher at the Seminario Migraci坦n, Desigualdad y Pol鱈ticas P炭blicas. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY), a Masters in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University (NYU) and a B.A. in Political Science from the Instituto Tecnol坦gico Aut坦nomo de M辿xico (ITAM). Her main research interests are international migration and forced displacement, inequality, gender, sociology of time and qualitative research methods. Her work has been published in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, the Journal of Migration and Human Security, the Journal of Immigrant and Refugee Studies (forthcoming), (Trans) fronteriza and Metropolitics among other places.For more details,
