Ryerson University抯 Optional Specializations provide an opportunity for students to enrich and augment their studies by focusing on a particular area of interest.�
Specialization courses are completed in addition to the student抯 regular program requirements, often in the Spring/Summer or via Distance Education. Optional Specializations are noted on the student抯 Official Transcript upon graduation from their program.
Students must follow the Specialization抯 published curriculum and also must maintain a Clear Academic Standing.
To pursue an Optional Specialization, students must officially register. Some of the courses have pre-requisites. Contact information, registration procedures, and deadlines are provided below.
