Don't Forget Canadian History Courses

Among its diverse offerings, the Department of History presents courses exploring Canada’s past. While not normally required, taking them has benefits, not least of which is preparing you to participate effectively in the life of your community as a well-informed citizen.

Moreover, anyone aspiring to become a History teacher should determine how many Canadian History credits Ontario teachers’ colleges require. Some, for instance, require four such courses within a History degree, but the number varies, so make sure you have enough credits to achieve your goals and meet any other requirements that might exist.
