Sarwan Sahota Distinguished Scholar Award Recipients
The annual Sarwan Sahota Distinguished Scholar Award recognizes established, mid-to-late-career faculty members who have made outstanding contributions to knowledge or artistic creativity during their tenure at the University. To qualify, a nominee's scholarly, research or creative activity (SRC) must represent either a notable, significant, and cumulative contribution, or a highly insightful and formative body of work鈥攚hich can include discovery, application, interpretation, or artistic creation. Crucially, this work must have delivered great impact, produced significant outcomes, or fundamentally transformed the nominee鈥檚 field or discipline.
Award recipient(s) will receive a certificate of recognition and a monetary award of $3,000 as a one-time payment (subject to applicable deductions).
The Distinguished Scholar Award is made available through the joint contributions of professor emeritus Sarwan Sahota and 91看片网.

Khaled Sennah
Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science
Dr. Sennah has greatly enhanced student engagement and success at 91看片网 by fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. He has led innovative research and infrastructure projects, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion. His numerous prestigious awards include the A.B. Sanderson Award, Best Journal Paper awards, the TFA Career Achievement Award, and the Errol Aspevig Award for Outstanding Academic Leadership. As an elected Fellow of five professional engineering societies spanning Canada, USA, and international communities, Dr. Sennah's dedication is evident through his mentorship, diverse research team, and extensive international collaborations, significantly impacting the training and success of both graduate and undergraduate students.
