Code of Conduct
All participants in 91看片网's Intramural Sports & Social Leagues are expected to contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive sport and recreation community. This includes treating all staff, officials, participants - including teammates and opponents - and spectators with respect and dignity.
There is zero tolerance for disrespectful, abusive, harassing or discriminatory behaviour.
Participants who engage in disrespectful, abusive, harassing or discriminatory behaviour before, during or after play, are subject to suspension or disqualification from the Intramural Sports program under the Fair Play System, as well as referral to relevant 91看片网 offices under policies governing community behaviour (e.g., Student Code of Non-Academic Conduct; Respectful Workplace Policy; Sexual Violence Policy; Discrimination & Harassment Policy).
Prohibited behaviours include:
- Disrespectful, abusive, harassing or discriminatory language towards officials, staff, participants and spectators
- Fighting, overly aggressive or dangerous play
- Consumption of alcohol/drugs and intoxication: Individuals suspected of consuming alcohol or drugs or being intoxicated will be removed from play and referred to Security and/or Student Care and Conduct.

Team names, logos and uniforms can be a fun way to build team spirit, connect with others, and celebrate the social and community side of playing sports together.
While creative expression is encouraged and welcome, please be mindful that team names, logos and uniforms must NOT contain:
- Language, symbols, or references that demean, threaten, harass, vilify, or express hatred or discrimination toward an individual or group based on a protected ground under the Ontario Human Rights Code, as reflected in 91看片网鈥檚 Discrimination and Harassment Policy (DHP).
- Profanity, sexual content or innuendo, or references that promote illegal activity, alcohol, or drugs.
The Fair Play System is to ensure that the Intramural program continues to provide a safe and fun environment for all participants, staff and spectators. Strikes will be given to teams that are demonstrating inappropriate behaviour (see below). If a team accumulates a certain amount of strikes there will be disciplinary action taken.
What are strikes & what counts as a strike?
Strikes will be given out during scheduled intramural times. If your team or an individual from your team demonstrates any inappropriate behaviour, your team will receive strikes according to the behaviour and possible suspension. When a team accumulates a certain amount of strikes there will be disciplinary action taken.
How do I know if my team has received a strike?
If the convenor has decided to give you a strike, they will notify the team captain and the participant(s) involved immediately. The team captain will also be notified by email and suspension letters will be sent out dependent on the behaviour. The Intramural team will be monitoring strikes semesterly for each team.
Can I protest a strike?
To protest a strike, the team captain is responsible to represent the team by contacting the intramurals@torontomu.ca or by visiting the Intramural office.

*If a team defaults 2 games nights during the season, they will not be eligible for playoffs and risk being removed from the league immediately.
Accumulated Strikes

Player(s) returning from suspension will participate under probation* for the remainder of the semester. |
