Amphitheatre
This welcoming two-storey space, located at the entrance of the SLC, is a great place for members of the Toronto Metropolitan community to meet and socialize. Known as the Amphitheatre, this L-shaped space features tiered casual seating fitted for approximately 100 people, overlooking an open-concept floor with over 800 square feet of unobstructed space.
The SLC Amphitheatre has been used in a variety of ways, from performance arts to project showcases. We invite you to add your own creative and personal touch to a campus event by booking out the Amphitheatre!
Interested in bringing your next event to life in the Amphitheatre?
- Read and understand our Event Guidelines Page. These criteria determine if your event is suitable for the SLC.
- Complete the . Once your request is reviewed, you will be contacted about next steps.
- Please note: Amphitheatre event requests can be submitted no later than six (6) weeks, and no earlier than six (6) months in advance.
- Meet our team for a site visit. This meeting helps you to visualize and work out the nitty gritty details of your event.

The Amphitheatre is intended for student engagement activity.
Fees apply for external organizations or those that include some external collaborators. External requestors may email slchelp@torontomu.ca for space availability.
